A quick little bio is always fun, just so you have an idea of who I am. I grew up in Manchester, New Hampshire, went to college (WPI) in Worcester Mass. After graduating with my BS in Mechanical Engineering I started with a company called Electric Boat based in Groton, CT. After a couple years there I decided to move on to my current position at Sikorsky Aircraft designing rotor components for helicopters. I am working towards my Masters at University of New Haven. Outside of my professional career I have a number of interests the two which I have been involved with most deeply for the last ten years being biketrials and photography. If you don't know what biketrials is don't worry, you're not alone. It is also called observed trials, trials, and trialsin. What every you call it is basically involves riding a bike over rough, technical terrain. Just go into the gallery and take a look, it makes much more sense when you have a picture to look at. That brings me to my next involvement, photography. I had been interested in photography prior to getting into trials, but starting to ride really gave me a good subject matter to work with. Ever since I've gotten into it I've become farther entrenched. For a couple years on, then a year off, and now more recently on, I've enjoyed rock climbing. Unfortunately in the past I was just a gym rat because I didn't know anyone who had gear, or the knowledge to use it. I recently met a couple people who climb outside. I'm looking forward to getting some time outside during the warmer months. I purchased a Subaru WRX in 2004 and absolutely love it. Since I got it I've been getting more interested in motorsports. In 2006 I did some autoX's and also a rally class and I'm hooked. Unfortunately motorsports is just about the most expensive hobby to have, and if you're keeping track, photography isn't a poor man's hobby either. I'd like to do something more serious in the future but it just depends on my financial situation.
