A quick little bio is always fun, just so you have an idea of who I am.

 

I grew up in Manchester, New Hampshire, went to college in Worcester Mass.  After graduating with my BS in Mechanical Engineering I started with a company called Electric Boat based in Groton, CT.  After a couple years there I decided to move on to my current position at Sikorsky Aircraft designing rotor components for helicopters.  While at Sikorsky I was able to get my Masters in Mechanical engineering as well.

 

Outside of my professional career I have a number of interests which are pretty obvious from the Gallery section of the site.  Rock climbing has throughly taken over as my primary pastime.  In the past biketrials was a big part but I haven't gotten on my bike in probably more than two years.  Spanning both of these activities is photography.  I've got quite a few photos here on the site, many are snap shots documenting events and others are worthy of more merit.  I'm always torn after coming back from a fun day out putting up pictures for my friends to see and only putting up ones I think are really spectacular.
