Anyone participating in outdoor activities keeps a close eye on the weather and the conditions. Using Claude I created a few tools that I think are useful for planning or just interesting.
- SWE Dashboard – Snow Water Equivalent chart for SNOTEL’s near a selected location. Also includes statistics (median, etc) as well as recent years
- Day Length Rate of Change – how long does the length of the day change at this time of year?
- Wx Dashboard – dashboard of your favorite (stored as cookies) locations and ways to answer the question “where do we go this weekend?”
- Japan Snow (Japow) Dashboard – Keeping tabs on the Hokkaido winter similar to the SWE Dashboard.
