2023-06-17 and 18 Sinks Canyon

For our last weekend away before we head to the East Coast we headed toward Sinks Canyon for some running and climbing.

Another large mushroom.

The first run of the weekend had a longer but mellower track. Nearly all of it was on a forest road.

Getting near the turnaround point for the run. This cliffband stretched for about a mile or so and may or may not have established climbs on it.

The wildflowers were in full bloom.

While the day looks idylic from this shot a bit later in the day it was cloudy and windy. We though we'd get dumped on, but it didn't rain until much later.

More wonderful meadow running.

Second day of running, but the road we ran the day before can be seen in the distance on the grassy hillside.
