We made a quick trip up to the Uintas this weekend. We originally planned to climb Saturday and run Sunday, but the weather didn’t cooperate Saturday after we got there. We opted to swap the days. The Uintas are always a fun little getaway out of the heat in SLC.

View from above and our campsite. We've camped here a few times before. The USFS is clearing dead trees within a distance from the highway and changing the character of much of the dispersed camping.

On our trail run Saturday. While the distance was only 9 miles it felt hard. Perhaps the altitude and/or the high stepping that is necessary to make it over the rocks in the Uintas.
