We got another few inches of snow here in Southern CT, about 3 inches to be exact. This winter is turning out to be much better than the last few. Who knows maybe there will even be a little ice racing this year! Anyways, Dave’s girlfriend, Phyli (hopefully I’m spelling that right), really wanted to get out and do a little snowshoeing. Dave borrowed Adam’s shows and I brought mine out.
I brought them out to Ragged Mtn. on the Metacomet Trail. The snow was only about 3.5″ deep which doesn’t require snowshoes but the teeth on the shoes came in handy because of the ice under the snow. We took a trip up to the cliff then along the ridge for maybe 2 miles. In all we were gone for a few hours.
