Eric and I had a St. Patrick’s Day party at our house last night. I invited a few friends and we had a pretty good turn out of around 12 for dinner. I started cooking early in the day by making the dessert, an Irish Coffee Cake. The cake had more than a shot or two of Irish whiskey in the whipped topping as well as the cake itself. The main course was corned beef and cabbage of course and it came out pretty good I think. While I didn’t brine my own brisket I think I will give that a try in a couple months. When the party was winding down and it was just Ben, Tim, Steve, Eric and myself we busted out the Jenga and had a few awesome rounds. Nothing like 5 engineers trying to play Jenga.
