Summer OR 2013 came and went last week. It was a good time with lots of interesting things to see. Being my second one I got a bit more comfortable with the layout and format. Certainly one of the best things is taking advantage of the free parties. This go around there was also a deep water soloing competition up at Park City. I went to check it out with some friends. Despite being just a practice session it was interesting. I definitely wouldn’t want to drop from the 50-60ft top of the wall. During the time we were there only Chris Sharma made it to the top. A few of the girls made it to the last hold but couldn’t figure out how to move up to the lip of the wall and took the long plunge.
